We were very fortunate to welcome Kawase Masayoshi and Natchan, organizers of the largest online karuta community, to our first live interview! Most will know Kawase as the three-time Meijin (68th, 69th, and 70th), and as the winner of all major competitions in 2024 – a feat that had not been achieved in 28 years.

The interview is an hour long and includes topics from the events they host in Japan, to a ‘professional’ competitive karuta, to Kawase’s matches in 2025.
